Noret Bazemore of " Bella Latina Cakes"

What can I say, have you ever had an emotional attachment to food?

I mean one of those," look at that!" -- "you can't eat that it is too pretty!" type of food attachment.

This is how I have come to see the cakes made by one of Freeport, Long Island NY's premier cake designers; Noret Bazemore of "Bella Latina Cakes." She has been seriously baking since 2003, however she had a  two year stint away from her art from 2006 to 2008. Mamacita Noret, comes from a long line of bakers she is now the fourth generation " baby dassa'  whole latta' sugar knowledge."

The name was sort of an accident in truth it connects her to her culture, she chose to brandish herself on Facebook as "Noret Caking-Mamacita Bazmore,"because she wanted to be original-clever-catchy... the other page name connects her culturally as well "Bella Latina Cakes;" when contacting her to create one of her awesome delectable delights, you should use " Bella Latina Cakes" this one has her contact information on it.

Me being a stay at home mom myself, I can see the appeal of doing a little work from home to have extra cash and take care of your children and watch them grow; This has major appeal for Noret, not many women would do this and to the ones who do "You de' number one chief cook and bottle washer! Noret says this is strictly a baking company; however, her heart leads her from time to time to cook full course meals for a few of her elderly clients.

All I can say is once you see these wonderful cakes which she spends a tremendous amount of time putting together, you will see the touch of God in each and every layer; she listens to Gospel music while baking and it shows not only in her creations but on her face, she just glows with love and joy for life and what she is doing with it.

Her specialties are: Birthday Cakes, Pound Cakes, and Cup Cakes.
Her Signature cakes is: The Yellow Butter Cake with French Vanilla Creme Filling. She says: "I like the prep stage, but I truly look forward to the creative stage."  spoken like a true artist!

We are looking forward to having her on the Show this Friday, just to speak a little about this wonderful process and how much joy can come from doing something you love!

This is "Aleatra" from  Intrinsic Communication, saying "Onward and Upward and all the best to yah!"
